Of course, that’s an almost ridiculous question, but one that’s on almost everyone’s mind these days. The answer, of course, is that no one knows. There’s a lot of speculation, but that’s all it is. It does appear however, that maybe we’ve hit the bottom. It will probably remain stagnant for a while and then slowly begin it’s historic rise of some 3 to 5% per year. If you bought a house during the “boom”, you probably paid top dollar. If that’s the case, don’t plan to move for a long time, or plan to lose money if you do. It’ll be a long time before houses reach that level again.
